NOTICE TO BDDERS
Sealed Bids for Licking County Justice Center New Offices will be received by the Licking County Board of Commissioner's Offce located at 4th Floor, 20 S. Second Sfreet Newark, Ohio 43055 until 1:15 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 and opened then and there at that time for the following:
Licking County Justice Center New Offices
in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by the Architect, Wachtel & McAnally Architects/Planners Inc, 35 South Park Place, Newark, Ohio 43055 740-345-3500.
Submit 2 copies & USB flash drive of bids in a sealed opaque envelope plainly marked on the outside with the title of project and name of bidder.
Brief Summary of Work- Bidder is to furnish all labor, supervision, materials and equipment to perform the work as follows but not limited to: Remodel Existing Space and Re-work Sprinkler Piping. Remove and dispose existing ceiling tiles, light fixtures, ductwork, diffusers and replace with new per design of new space. New offices are metal studs, sound insulation and drywall. Existing Building must remain operational during remodel. Estimated cost: $180,000.00

The Instruction to Bidders, Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Architect by appointment only.

A Bid Surety in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount often percent (10%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid. Or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond pursuant to Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid.
Ifthe successful bidder submitted a Bid Surety in the amount often percent (10%) of the total bid, the bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the full con&act m•lount pursuant to Section 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bidders shall conform to State of Ohio, Prevailing Wage Laws pursuant to Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bonds must identify the Licking County Commissioners as obligee. Failure to properly execute Bid Guaranty and Confract Bond if applicable may result in rejection of Bid.
All Bids shall be irrevocable for (60) days after the actual date of the Bid Opening. The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, informalities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids.
The Commissioners reserve the right to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, as per ORC 9.312. If, in the opinion of the Owner the acceptance of the lowest bids is not in the best interest of all concerned, the Owner may accept another Bid so opened or reject all Bids and advertise for other Bids.
