BY VIRTUE of and to satisfy a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued from the Honorable 9th Judicial District Court, and to me directed as Sheriff and Ex-Officio Auctioneer of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, directing and commanding me to seize and sell the property, rights and credits of the defendant, I have seized the following property and will offer for sale to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction on the second floor of the Court House in Alexandria, Louisiana, between the hours prescribed by law, on Wednesday the 28th day of January, 2026 the following property to-wit :
The Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NW/4 of SE/4) of Section 19, Township 4 North, Range 2 East, Louisiana Meridian, being a portion of the property acquired by Dalbert A. Humbles by patent from the United States.
More particularly described as follows:
A certain tract of land together with all buildings and improvements thereon, and all rights, way, and privileges thereto belonging, in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, and being more fully described as that portion of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 4 North, Range 2 East, District North of Red River, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, as highlighted in yellow on the survey by Jerry L. Richey dated February 27, 2010, containing approximately 2.47 acres of land; and being further described as that tract purchased by H.M. Barron and Paula Duplissey Barron in that sale from Marna Duplissey Moran in a sale recorded in Conveyance Book 1521, page 490 and corrected by that act of correction filed in Conveyance Book 1522, page 489.
Terms of Sale: FOR CASH "WITHOUT" APPRAISEMENT
NOTE: ALL SALES MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO RPSO BY 2:00 PM ON DAY OF SALE. ALL FUNDS MUST BE PAID WITH A CASHIER'S CHECK, CERTIFIED CHECK, OR BANK MONEY ORDER. ANYONE INTERESTED IN BIDDING MUST SUBMIT AN IRREVOCABLE BANK LETTER OF CREDIT TO THE RPSO CIVIL DIVISION PRIOR TO THE SALE.
