TOWN OF HORNBY TAKE NOTICE that the Tax Collector of the Town of Hornby, Steuben County, New York, has duly received the tax roll and warrant to collect taxes within the Town of Hornby for the year 2026. Taxes will be collected at the Hornby Town Hall during the month of January on each Monday from 10:00am to 2:00pm and each Tuesday and Friday from 11:00am to 6:00pm. In addition to hours above, taxes will also be collected on Saturday January 31th from 11:00am – 1:00pm. Please note that there is a limit to the number of people allowed in the town hall at one time, and the line may extend outside. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes shall be received without interest by the collecting officer on or before the 2nd day of February 2026. On all taxes received after such date, there will be added interest: 1% if paid on or before March 2, 2026; and 2% if paid on or before March 31, 2026. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of the law, the tax roll of the Town of Hornby will be returned to the Steuben County Finance Office on the 1st day of April 2026.
