PUBLIC NOTICE: NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT TAKE NOTICE, that I, Erica Button, the undersigned, Collector of Taxes of the Town of Pulteney, County of Steuben and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Pulteney for the year 2026 and that I will attend at the Town Hall, 9226 County Rte. 74 in said Town of Pulteney from January 5, 2026 to March 31, 2026 – 12:00PM to 4:00PM Mondays, 9:00AM to 4:00PM Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 9:00AM to 12:00PM Wednesdays for the purpose of receiving the taxes on said roll. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before February 2, 2026, or after expiration of 30 days of the date of receipt of the tax roll and warrant without charge of interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of one per centum for the first month and an additional one per centum for each additional month or fraction thereof until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer pursuant to law. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Pulteney will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Steuben on the 1st day of April 2026.
