BOROUGH OF LODI PLANNING BOARD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Borough of Lodi Planning Board ("Board") will be conducting a public hearing on January 14, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, located at 1 Memorial Drive, Lodi, New Jersey 07644 on the application of the undersigned for site plan approval, variance relief and any required design waivers to convert an existing vacant mercantile space to a recreational cannabis retail facility at the property commonly known as 114 Essex Street, Lodi NJ (Block 174.01, Lot 14). The application requires the following bulk variances: Lot Coverage (75% is maximum allowable and 100% is existing an proposed); Lot Depth (100 Feet Required; 91.75 is existing and proposed); Rear Yard Setback (20 Feet is required and 19.56 is existing and proposed); Side Yard Setback (10 Feet Side Yard Required and 9.87 Feet is existing and proposed); Side Yard Setback – Both (15 Feet is required and 10.28 is existing and proposed); Building Coverage (45% is maximum allowable and 59.2% is existing and proposed); Floor Area Ratio (1.5 is maximum allowable and .59 is existing and proposed); and any other variances and/or design waivers that the Board deems necessary. The Applicant intends to operate the proposed business from 9am to 9pm; Monday thru Sunday. Furthermore, to the extend deemed necessary, the Applicant requests variance and/or waiver relief for any and all other pre-existing nonconforming site conditions.
Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Borough of Lodi Planning Board. Copies of the application and all exhibits thereto are on file with the Lodi Planning Board located at 1 Memorial Drive, Lodi New Jersey.
