By virtue of and in obedience to a directed to me by the Honorable ASCENSION 23RD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT in and for the PARISH OF ASCENSION, State of Louisiana, dated: Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the above entitled and numbered cause, I shalI proceed to sell at public auction at Governmental Annex 828 South Irma Blvd Gonzales, LA 70737 of which the Civil District Court of the Parish of Ascension is held on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM, to the last and highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit:
A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND SITUATED IN THE NW ¼ OF SECTION 12, T-9-S, R-3-E, SOUTHEASTERN DISTRICT OF LOUISIANA, ASCENSION PARISH, TOGETHER WITH ALL COMPONENT PARTS AND REAL RIGHTS THEREON OR THERETO APPERTAINING, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: FROM THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE PROPERTY WHICH MRS. BERNADETTA VILLAR TEMPLET ACQUIRED IN THAT ACT OF PARTITION BETWEEN HER AND LEROY BURTON TEMPLET DATED DECEMBER 28, 1961, AND RECORDED IN FEBRUARY 2, 1962, IN COB 163, FOLIO 272, OF THE ASCENSION PARISH RECORDS, GO NORTHERLY ALONG THE WESTERN BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY A DISTANCE OF 130', MORE OR LESS, TO A POINT AND CORNER CONSTITUTING THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID PROPERTY; THEN GO EASTERLY ALONG THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY A DISTANCE OF 300' TO A POINT AND CORNER; THENCE GO SOUTHERLY PARALLEL TO THE WESTERN BOUNDARY A DISTANCE OF 130', MORE OR LESS, TO A POINT AND CORNER ON THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY; THENCE GO WESTERLY ALONG THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY A DISTANCE OF 300' TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
And from the proceeds of said sale to pay petitioner by preference over all other claims, the sum of: ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY TWO DOLLARS AND FIFTY ONE CENTS ($189,732.51) DOLLARS, along with interest and attorney's fees and all other costs including my own costs and charges.
