TOWN OF GREENVILLE LEGAL NOTICE   I, the undersigned Tax Collector for the Town of Green-ville, County of Orange and the State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the Town of Greenville for the year 2026.   With the exception of legal holidays, I will collect taxes at the Greenville Town Hall, 1537 US Highway 6, Port Jervis, New York 12771:   January 2026: Wednesdays 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursdays 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM and Saturdays 9:00AM – 12:00 PM Closed for Legal Holidays on Thursday, January 1, 2026 and Monday, January 19, 2026   February 2026: February 2 Monday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesdays and Thursdays 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM Closed for Legal Holiday on Monday, February 16, 2026   March 2026: Wednesdays 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM March 31 Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM   TAKE FURTHER NOTICE: Taxes paid on or before February 2, 2026 will be accepted without interest. A penalty of one percent (1%) will be added to payments made February 3, 2026 through February 28, 2026, and a two percent (2%) penalty will be added to payments made March 1, 2026 through March 31, 2026. The postmark will be honored. A FEE OF $15 WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY RETURNED CHECKS. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MARCH 15, 2026. AFTER MARCH 15, 2026, TAXES MUST BE PAID IN THE FORM OF CASH, MONEY ORDER, BANK CHECK OR CERTIFIED CHECK (THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS). WHEN PAYING CASH, EXACT CHANGE IS REQUIRED.
