PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Stroud Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Stroud Township Municipal Building, 1211 N. 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, to consider an application for relief under Chapter 23 (Stormwater Management) of the Code of Ordinances of Stroud Township.   The application has been submitted by Dennis West. The property is owned by Holly A. West and Dennis Edward West and is located at 106 Grace Street, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Parcel No. 17.1.2.15, zoned Special and Recreational District (S-1). The applicant requests waiver relief from the riparian buffer requirements of Chapter 23 in connection with proposed residential improvements to an existing dwelling.   The requested relief includes consideration of whether to permit (i) construction or placement of a building or structure within the inner riparian buffer, and (ii) an expansion of an existing structure in excess of ten percent (10%) within the outer riparian buffer, pursuant to §§ 23-303 and 23-110 of the Township Code.   At the hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. The Board of Supervisors may take action on the application following the hearing. The application and supporting materials are available for public inspection at the Township office during regular business hours.
