REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Marathon County Hatley Highway Shop Interior Liner Panel Installation
The Marathon County Facilities and Capital Management Department is requesting proposals from qualified firms to supply and install white painted 26-gauge steel liner panel with trims on the interior of the Marathon County Hatley Highway Shop. The work will include all of the ceiling and a good portion of the walls that don't currently have liner panel.
Interested firms may obtain instructions and specifications beginning January 8, 2026, from the Marathon County Facilities and Capital Management Department, 1100 Lakeview Dr Ste 800, Wausau, WI 54403 (715-261-6980) or on the Marathon County website at http://www.marathon county.gov//.
Scope of Work
Provide all materials, labor, expertise, all equipment, and required insurance to install new 26 gauge painted metal interior liner panel with trims at the Hatley Highway Shop 8155 Duncan Road, Hatley, WI 54440
Time and Place for Receiving Proposals: Marathon County will accept proposals from qualified firms in the Facilities and Capital Management Dept. office.

Proposals received after 2:00 p.m. will not be accepted. Actual receipt by said time is required and deposit in the U.S. mail is insufficient. The envelope containing the sealed Bid shall bear the name and address of the interested firm and the notation "Marathon County Hatley Highway Shop Interior Liner Panel Installation" on the outside of the envelope.
Mandatory Walk-through: A walk through of the facilities is scheduled for January 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the site to review site conditions and discuss any questions about the RFP. We will meet at the Hatley Highway Shop located at 8155 Duncan Road, Hatley, WI 54440. This is a mandatory walk through.
Reservations: Marathon County reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any and all proposals, to waive any informalities, and to accept the bids determined to be in the best interest of the County. This invitation may be canceled if determined to be in the best interest of the County.
Ethics: The General Code of the County of Marathon contains various procurement policies which are applicable to this proposed procurement. These include prohibitions against gratuities and kickbacks. This request is governed by the Marathon County Procurement Code, a copy of which is available at the County Clerk's office in the Courthouse.
