TO: Horatio Chase, deceased, formerly of Dennis, Barnstable County, and said Commonwealth, and his unknown heirs, devisees, or legal representatives: You are hereby notified that a complaint has been filed by the above-named plaintiff in which you are named as an interested party. This complaint concerns a certain parcel of land in Dennisport, Barnstable County, and said Commonwealth being known as and numbered 142 Sea Street. Plaintiff, the record owner, contends that beginning with a deed recorded with the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds at Book 1398, Page 333, each deed in the chain of title up through and including the deed into plaintiff includes language "claiming" certain land, including a parcel previously owned by Horatio Chase, now deceased. Plaintiff seeks a declaration from the Court confirming Plaintiff's title to the Property, declaring that he holds title to the Property free and clear of any claims of the defendants, and for such other relief deemed just.
