NOTICE OF COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENT LUD #40 BILL POINT Kitsap County, Washington NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, by the County Treasurer of Kitsap County, Washington, that the Assessment roll for LUD #40 BILL POINT, Kitsap County, Washington as approved by Resolution No. 25-12-09E, adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Public Utility District No. 1 on December 9, 2025, has been placed in my hands for collection. The Treasurer of Kitsap County, Washington is thereby authorized and instructed to proceed to collect said assessment roll in accordance with law. Any part or all of this assessment may be paid in cash without penalty, interest or costs within 30 days of the first date of publication (January 14, 2026) by the County Treasurer of this notice, or if not then paid may, at the option of the property owners, be paid in 20 unequal annual installments with interest thereon fixed at the rate of 2% per annum. The lien of any such assessment may be discharged at any time after the first 30 days (the 30 day period ends February 13, 2026) following the date of the first publication of this notice by paying the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid together with interest to the due date of the installment next falling due. The first installment of assessments on the assessment roll for LUD #40 BILL POINT shall become due and payable on February 13, 2027 and annually thereafter on February 13 of each year another installment shall become due. Any installment not paid on or before February 13 each year shall thereupon become delinquent. All delinquent installments shall be subject to an additional charge for penalty at 10% levied upon both installment principal and interest due upon such installment of assessments. Said penalties shall become a part of the lien on the property assessed. The collection of delinquent installments shall be enforced in the manner provided by law.
