Minutes of Special Board Meeting
December 16, 2025
The virtual school board meeting was called to order in open session by President Williams at 6:00 p.m. Roll call indicated all were present with the exception of Mr. Hintz, who arrived at 6:10 pm.
III. Closed Session - Moved by DeFord and seconded by Hansen that the Board move into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session to confer with legal counsel to discuss potentially purchasing property and related agreements. All voted aye by roll call. Motion Carried 6-0.
IV. The virtual school board meeting returned to open session at 6:30 pm and called to order at 6:40 pm. All present with the exception of Mr. Hintz, who arrived on the video link at 6:50 pm.
V. Moved by Simmons and seconded by Genduso that the board approve a 66.0301 Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement for the purpose of cooperating in ownership and development of a facility for the provision of community programs and services, as presented. All voted aye by roll call. Motion carried 7-0.
VI. Moved by Genduso and seconded by Hintz that the board approve the selection of the architect to evaluate the proposed Recreation Center site, as presented. All voted aye by roll call. Motion carried 7-0.
VII. Moved by DeFord and seconded by Hansen that the Board approve the playing of a girls basketball game on December 28, 2025, as presented. All voted aye by roll call. Motion carried 7-0.
VIII. Adjournment - the meeting was adjourned at 7:04 pm., subject to the call of the President.
IX.
