HSG-18-00646 TO DEMOLISH COMMERCIAL Pursuant to the Indiana Unsafe Building Act, an affirmed order to demolish the above-referenced property exists. Because the structure has not been demolished, the City of South Bend shall advertise for bids for the demolition. A demolition contract will be awarded to a licensed contractor as required by I.C. 36-7-9-10 & 36-7-9-11 to accomplish the work of demolishing the house, garage, fence in compliance with the order. The public bids for the contract will be opened at 9:30 a.m. on 01/27/2026 in Rm. 301, City Hall, 215 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., South Bend, IN 46601. A copy of the statement of public bid may be obtained from the Neighborhood Services & Enforcement at the contact information below.
