ORDINANCE NO. 162 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ROLAND, IOWA, BY REZONING AND CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FOR 201 E ASH STREET SOUTH FROM I-1 (INDUSTRIAL) TO C-1 (COMMERCIAL) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLAND, IOWA: SECTION 1. PURPOSE. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Roland, Iowa, is hereby amended by rezoning and changing the district classification of that real property locally known as 201 E Ash Street, and legally described as follows, from I-1 (Industrial) to C-1 (Commercial): Parcel "A" of Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 in Block 8 of the Original Town of Roland, Story County, Iowa, and the vacated North 8.00 feet of E. Ash Street lying adjacent to the South line of said Lots 8-13 as shown in Plat of Survey filed on July 14,2009, in the office of the Story County Recorder in Slide 354, page 6 and recorded as Inst. No. 09-08622. SECTION 2. REPEALER. All provisions of the City Code in conflict with these provisions of this Ordinance shall be repealed. SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. If any section, provision, or part of this Ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
