REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS The City of Corpus Christi is currently accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for RFQ 6892 – Wastewater Treatment Plant Flood Mitigation and Backup Generators from qualified firms to provide Professional Engineering Services for two projects in connection with Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Community Development Block Grant – Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funded projects administered by the Texas General Land Office (GLO). This procurement will be conducted in accordance with 2 CFR, §200.318 through §200.327, the Texas GLO-CDR Implementation Manual, Chapter 5 – Procurement, and all other applicable federal, state and local laws. All Respondents must register and be active in the System for Award Management at https://sam.gov/, and have a valid Unique Entity Identifier (UEID). Any unregistered or debarred firms are ineligible for award. Scope of Services: The selected firm(s) will provide professional services including but not limited to the design for sewer improvements to improve the site and install effluent pump station, install generator and controls, complete with associated appurtenances at Greenwood and Oso Wastewater Treatment Plants. Procurement Method: This solicitation is issued as a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) under the Professional Services Professional Act, Government Code §2254, thus pricing will not be used as a selection factor and will be negotiated with the most qualified firm. A Pre-Submittal Conference will be held on CT via WebEx. Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 10:30am CT. Instructions are provided in the solicitation document. Submittals are due by Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm CT. All SOQs must be returned as instructed in the RFQ, either electronically via CivCast or delivered to City Hall no later than the date and time specified in the RFQ. SOQs delivered to City Hall must be addressed to the Procurement Officer listed below. No late submissions will be accepted.
