Common Council meeting was called to order by Mayor TeStrake at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall.
PRESENT: Mike Feirer, Derek Wehrman (via Zoom), Natasha Tompkins, Brian Varsho, Scott Koran, Jen Delis, Brian Giles, Rebecca Spiros (via Zoom), Mike O'Reilly and Andrew Reigel (via Zoom).

STAFF UPDATES
• Finance Director Selenske provided an update on a request from Alderperson O'Reilly regarding spending order for capital projects. A policy will be coming forward for review in January.
MAYOR'S COMMENTS
• Thank you to the Fire Department for their efforts fighting a house fire this weekend in the extreme cold.
• Kudos to the Street Department on the prompt clearing of the snowfall last week.
• Congratulations to Rotary Wonderland for moving forward despite the extreme cold last week.
• Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
COUNCIL COMMENTS
• Alderperson Wehrman congratulated City Clerk Schiferl and her family on the recent badge pinning of her daughter Charlotte. He commented how cool it is to see the impact on the next generation.
CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S UPDATE
• The airport terminal live burn and demolition has been delayed as asbestos has been discovered.
• Worker compensation renewal came back with a mod rate decrease from 1.21 to 1.08 which will lower our premium. Thank you to MEUW, HR, and the departments for working to control claims and maximize safety.
• He has not heard from 3 individuals yet regarding the strategic planning dates in January. He'll be reaching out.
• Happy Holidays to everyone and thank you for a great year.
