By virtue of and in obedience to a directed to me by the Honorable ASCENSION 23RD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT in and for the PARISH OF ASCENSION, State of Louisiana, dated: , , in the above entitled and numbered cause, I shalI proceed to sell at public auction at Governmental Annex 828 South Irma Blvd Gonzales, LA 70737 of which the Civil District Court of the Parish of Ascension is held on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM, to the last and highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit:
A CERTAIN SMALL PARCEL OF GROUND SITUATED IN THE PARISH OF ASCENSION, IN SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 8 SOUTH, RANGE 3 EAST, SOUTHEASTERN DISTRICT OF LOUISIANA, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE PARCEL OF GROUND CONVEYED BY JOHN EALY, JR., TO ROMAN EALY ON MAY 17, 1962, BY DEED RECORDED IN C.O.B. 165, FOLIO 440 OF ASCENSION PARISH, AND MEASURES WEST A DISTANCE OF ONE HUNDRED-TWENTY (120) FEET, THEN NORTH A DISTANCE OF ONE-HALF ACRE (104.35 FEET) THEN EAST A DISTANCE OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) FEET, THEN SOUTH A DISTANCE OF ONE-HALF (1/2) ACRE (104.35) FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
BEING THE SAME PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY JOHN EALY, III AND LILLIAN BANKS EALY FROM ASCENSION SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION BY ACT OF SALE DATED DECEMBER 22, 1975 AND RECORDED AT COB 273, FILE NUMBER 139129 IF ASCENSION PARISH, LOUISIANA.
And from the proceeds of said sale to pay petitioner by preference over all other claims, the sum of: NINETY FOUR THOUSAND AND HUNDRED SEVENTEEN DOLLARS AND THIRTY EIGHT CENTS ($94,017.38) DOLLARS, along with interest and attorney's fees and all other costs including my own costs and charges.
