Bay County, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the flood hazard information on Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) 12005C0282J generally located north of Florida Highway 30A, and east of Florida Highway 79. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 25-04-6131R for the Gateway Crossings development. Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request will be submitted that will, in part, revise the flood hazards for the existing 1 % annual chance floodplain. As a result of the revision, 1% annual chance water- surface elevations shall be established and 1% annual chance floodplain shall increase and decrease within the area of revision.
