CITY OF FAIRHOPE REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS SEALED PROPOSALS will be received by the City of Fairhope of Baldwin County, Alabama, in the City of Fairhope’s City Services and Public Utilities Building located at, 555 South Section St. Fairhope, Alabama, until 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 12, 2026, and then publicly opened thereafter, for furnishing all labor and materials, and performing all work required by the City of Fairhope and described as follows: RFQ No. PS26-015 Professional Landscape Architectural and A&E Services Flying Creek Nature Preserve Phase II (GOMESA Funded Project No. 2026-PWD 100) and Phase III (South Tract Offroad Bicycling Project No. 2026-PWD 110) GOMESA Grant No. G-CFNPII/24/CF The City of Fairhope is accepting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional landscape architectural and engineering & architectural design services for the next two construction phases of Flying Creek Nature Preserve. Phase II is a Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act (GOMESA) Grant Funded Capital Improvement Project within the City parkland already developed in Phase I and is based on the continuation of the approved Project Masterplan for this northern tract. The City of Fairhope is the Grant Recipient and will be responsible for grant and project administration. Phase III is the design for active elements with an emphasis on offroad bicycling on the yet to be developed 33-acre southern tract (the triangle-shaped property). The selected design firm will work from a previously prepared and approved masterplan for this tract. These project phases will entail the design, letting, project management, and construction oversight of expanded and new recreational and outdoor educational facilities within the developing 104 acres known as “Flying Creek Nature Preserve” at the north gateway to the City.
