NOTICE TO BIDDERS (LEGAL NOTICE)   The Board of Commissioners of Tippecanoe County, of the State of Indiana, will receive sealed bids at the office of Jennifer Weston, Auditor of Tippecanoe County and Secretary to the Board of Commissioners, in the Tippecanoe County Office Building, 20 North Third Street, Lafayette, Indiana, on or before 9:30 A.M. on the 2nd day of February, 2026, for the following project:   BRIDGE BEARINGS FOR TIPPECANOE COUNTY BRIDGE NO. 119   THE PROPOSED WORK CONSISTS OF FABRICATING AND DELIVERING BRIDGE BEARINGS FOR TIPPECANOE COUNTY BRIDGE NO. 119, LOCATED ON NORTH NINTH STREET ROAD OVER THE WABASH RIVER, 0.44 MILE SOUTHWEST OF SWISHER ROAD, TIPPECANOE COUNTY, INDIANA. THE BRIDGE BEARINGS CONSIST OF SIXTY (60) DISC TYPE BEARINGS AND TWENTY-FOUR (24) ELASTOMERIC BEARINGS. THE SUPPLIER SHALL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE PREVIOUS HISTORY IN THE DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF DISC BEARINGS, SHOWING A MINIMUM OF TEN (10) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND TWENTY (20) BRIDGE INSTALLATIONS.   Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Board of Commissioners meeting in the Tippecanoe Room in the Tippecanoe County Office Building, 20 North Third Street, commencing at 10:00 A.M. on the 2nd day of February, 2026. More detailed bid requirement information is included in the "Notice to Bidders - Specification Copy" which is a part of the Bid Documents. Bid Documents may be examined at the following locations: The office of the Tippecanoe County Highway Department, Tippecanoe County Office Building, 20 North Third Street, Lafayette, Indiana; and online at https://www.tippecanoe.in.gov/Bids.aspx. Documents will be available on or about the 20th day of January, 2026. Contractors desiring to submit a bid must register with Tippecanoe County as a valid bidder by submitting the form provided on the Tippecanoe County “Bid Opportunities” internet page. Bids shall be submitted on regular bid forms as prescribed by the State of Indiana. All bids must be accompanied by a Bidders Bond, Certified Check or Cash in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total bid price, and a non-collusion affidavit, and in all particulars must comply with the laws of the State of Indiana. Each proposal shall be in a sealed envelope directed to the Board of Commissioners of Tippecanoe County, State of Indiana, and plainly marked to indicate the title of the project and the name and address of the bidder.
