PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by Saint Joseph’s Carpenter Society for Architectural and Engineering Services for the Redevelopment of 2631 Federal Street, in the City of Camden, Camden County, New Jersey.
Copies of the RFP document may be obtained at Saint Joseph’s Carpenter Society (SJCS), 20 Church Street, Camden, NJ during regular business hours on Monday through Friday, or by contacting Enrique Rivera at erivera@sjcscamden.org starting on January 20, 2026. Any questions shall be submitted in writing as “Requests for Interpretation” via email only to Enrique Rivera, Director of Neighborhood Development, by no later than Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 at 12:00 PM. The Proposal Documents may only be modified by Addendum issued prior to the Proposal Opening date.
Three (3) physical copies of the Proposal and one (1) digital copy (PDF) on a Flash Drive or other digital media must be delivered to Enrique Rivera at 20 Church Street, Camden, NJ 08105 no later than Wednesday, February 11th, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Proposals will be opened and read aloud in public at Saint Joseph’s Carpenter Society at 20 Church Street, Camden, NJ 08105 on Wednesday, February 11th , 2026 at 11:00 AM.
SJCS encourages prospective respondents to deliver their proposals before the designated date and time of the opening via hand delivery, certified mail or overnight delivery carrier. Proposals may not be emailed, faxed or transmitted over the phone.
SJCS reserves the right to consider the proposals for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of SJCS.
Proposals will not be received after the time specified for the opening of the proposals. SJCS will deem proposals received after the hour appointed invalid and return unopened to the respondent.
Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of language in the NJ Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award.
Proposals must comply with the mandatory requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-3.1 et seq. (P.L. 1975, c. 127) and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
