NOTICE TO ALL COLUMBIA COUNTY RESIDENTS   The Columbia County School District would like to inform all parents of children living in Columbia County of the opportunity for a permissive transfer to eligible schools. Residents may elect to send their children to one of the following schools identified as having classroom space available for the 2026-2027 school year:                •   Blue Ridge Elementary School              •   Evans Elementary School             •   Greenbrier Elementary School              •   Lewiston Elementary School              •   Riverside Elementary School              •   Lakeside Middle School   Please note that parents or guardians electing to send their children to an eligible school assume responsibility and cost of transporting their children to and from the school.   Interested parents or guardians should refer to Board Policy JB, Exhibit JB-E(1) available online at www.ccboe.net and complete the Permissive Transfer Request Form. Copies of these forms are also available at the Board of Education located at 4781 Hereford Farm Road.   Completed forms must be submitted to the eligible school(s) of choice beginning January 14, 2026, but no later than February 6, 2026.
