PUBLIC NOTICE OF HEARING TO THE CITIZENS OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Miss, Code Ann. §§ 77-3-47 and RP 15 of the Commission’s Public Utilities Rules of Practice and Procedure, that the Mississippi Public Service Commission (Commission) has scheduled a hearing on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be practicable, in Docket No. 2025-UA-14. At said date and time, Shubuta Creek Solar, LLC will be given the opportunity to be heard on its Petition seeking a certificate of public convenience and necessity authorizing the construction and operation of a solar electric generating facility in Jasper Couty, Mississippi. This matter is squarely within-the jurisdiction of the Commission pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. § 77-3-14. The scheduled hearing shall be held before the Commissioner Wayne Carr, the appointed hearing examiner in this Docket. The hearing shall take place at the Jasper County Courthouse, First Judicial District, 1782 MS 503 Hwy, Paulding, Mississippi 39348.
