The Cumberland County Utilities Authority is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer.   The Cumberland County Utilities Authority’s Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer is an essential member of the CCUA’s leadership team and is responsible for leading a team of professionals with delivering quality, professional utilities services to the public. The CCUA is known for providing outstanding services to the community and citizens of Cumberland County.   The CCUA is currently accepting resumes of highly professional, innovative, and self-motivated candidates for its Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer position. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will involve coordination with professional consultants; working with contract documents; project management; tracking of regulatory compliance requirements; and various other projects. The successful candidate will oversee and manage on a day-to-day basis the operations, finances, and other assets of the Authority. The executive director/chief financial officer will be further charged with implementing and executing upon the organizational policies, operational goals and strategic vision as enacted by the Board, as well as any related duties, assignments, tasks, and projects as may be assigned by the Board. Candidate must have a strong understanding and experience in the processes and equipment involved in the conveying and treatment of wastewater as well as sludge handling and disposal. A minimum of ten (10) years of substantial experience with the operation and management of comparable wastewater facilities, with a minimum of five (5) years of executive level supervisory experience. A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance management is required.
