NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE INTENT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF SPRINGFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 186, SANGAMON COUNTY, ILLINOIS TO SELL BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $6,000,000     PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Springfield School District No. 186, Sangamon County, Illinois (the “District”), will hold a public hearing on February 17, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The hearing will be held in the PD Room of the District Office located at 3063 Fiat Avenue, Springfield, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to sell bonds of the District in an amount not to exceed $6,000,000 for the purpose of conforming its existing facilities that house students to the building code promulgated by the State Board of Education of the State of Illinois by altering, reconstructing, and repairing said facilities and having equipment purchased and installed therein and paying costs of issuing the bonds.   By order of the Board of Education of Springfield School District No. 186, Sangamon County, Illinois.
