Whereas, judgment has been rendered against certain parcel(s) of real property for taxes, assessments, penalties, costs and charges as follows:
LOCATED: 23 Chapel Street, Savannah, Ohio 44874

LOT: R=82 Lot 150
A complete description of the property is available in the lobby of the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. It will also be available at the time of the sale.
Whereupon, the Court further finds that a valid amount of taxes, assessments, penalties and interest appearing due but unpaid on the unredeemed delinquent land tax certificate as set forth in the Complaint is Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Five and 50/100 Dollars ($14,175.50) and the court costs, together with all taxes, assessments, penalties and interest payable to the date of the sale on the premises as set forth in the Complaint.
Whereas, such judgment orders such real property to be sold by the undersigned to satisfy the total amount of said judgment;
Now, therefore, public notice is hereby given that I, Kurt J. Schneider, Sheriff of Ashland County, Ohio, will sell such real property at public auction, for cash to the highest bidder of an amount sufficient to satisfy the judgment against each parcel at 10:00 a.m. in the lobby of the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office at 1205 East Main Street, Ashland, Ohio, on the 3rd day of March, 2026, and continue from day to day thereafter, if any parcel does not receive a sufficient bid, it shall be offered for sale, under the same terms and conditions of the first sale and at the same time of day and at the same place, on the 17th day of March, 2026, for an amount sufficient to satisfy the judgment against the parcel(s).
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ALL SUCH REAL PROPERTY TO BE SOLD AT PUBLIC AUCTION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL TAX LIEN THAT MAY NOT BE EXTINGUISHED BY THE SALE, AND PURCHASERS OF ANY SUCH REAL PROPERTY ARE URGED TO SEARCH THE FEDERAL TAX LIEN INDEX THAT IS KEPT BY THE COUNTY RECORDER TO DETERMINE IF NOTICE OF A FEDERAL TAX LIEN HAS BEEN FILED WITH RESPECT TO ANY SUCH REAL PROPERTY.
TERMS OF SALE: Certified or personal check accepted for the total amount of costs on the day of the sale. Balance of purchase price to be paid within 30 days of confirmation of sale.
