SHERIFF’S LEVY NOTICE STATE OF GEORGIA 046-3-096-00-0 RICHMOND COUNTY   TO: BERDIE/BERTIE HARRISON JONES, ALL HEIRS KNOWN OR UNKNOWN   YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that I have this day Levied the following described property found in your possession, to-wit: All of that parcel of land with the improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in the City of Augusta, County of Richmond and State of Georgia, located on the south side of Dugas Street upon which it has a frontage of 33 feet and extends back between lines in a southernly direction of 68 feet and having a rear width of 33 feet and being a strip of land of the above dimensions which is composed of the eastern most part of Lot No. 58 an the Northeast corner of Lot No. 59, which lots are shown on a plat of the “Marks Trust Estate,” which plat was made by A. H. Davidson, City Engineer, and which plat is recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Superior Court of Richmond County, Georgia in Realty Book 5-F’s, Page 67, and to which plat reference is hereby made for a more accurate description as to the metes, bounds and locations. Said property is bounded, as a whole as follows: North by Dugas; East by Lots Nos. 84 and 85 of said plat, property, now or formerly of George W. Morton; South by the remaining portion of Lot No. 59 of said plat; and west by the remaining portion of Lot Nos. 58 and 59 of said plat. Property conveyed is known under the present system of City Street Numbering as 1244 Dugas Street.   By virtue of a State, County and School FiFa(s) and/or FiFa(s) for the City of Augusta taxes issued by and through the Tax Commissioner of Richmond County, Georgia for taxes on the property identified above for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 in the amount of $4,149.60, against property standing in the name of BERDIE/BERTIE HARRISON JONES, ALL HEIRS KNOWN OR UNKNOWN in favor of Richmond County, Georgia, and that I will proceed to sell for cash to the highest bidder the above described property under said FiFa(s) on the FIRST TUESDAY in March, 2026, at the Court House, in the City of Augusta, County and State aforesaid, during the legal hours of sale after having advertised the same according to law.   This 30th day of January, 2026.   T.
