JOSEPH COUNTY PARKS DEPARTMENT ANDERSON TRAIL COUNTY PARK BID PACKAGE 2   Notice is hereby given that the St. Joseph County Parks Department, South Bend, Indiana will receive sealed bids until 9:00 A.M., March 17, 2026 at the St. Joseph County Parks Offices, 50651 Laurel Road, South Bend, Indiana 46637. Bids will be opened publicly at St. Patrick’s County Park, White Barn, Harvest Room, 50561 Laurel Rd., South Bend, IN 46637, during the St. Joseph Park Board meeting scheduled for March 17, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. Formal Award of Construction Contract is anticipated to be made on Tuesday April 21, 2026, during the regularly scheduled St. Joseph Park Board meeting.   This notice includes a single lump sum bid project with alternates.   Contract Documents are on file and available for review and purchase from ARC document Solutions, 1303 Northside Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46615; tele: (574) 287-2944; email: southbend.orders@ae-arc.com. Bidders may also visit the South Bend ARC Document Solution Public Plan Room to place an order, view plans and specifications, as well as the Bidders List. Bidders may choose their method of shipment via UPS, Federal Express, or Courier Service and must include their UPS or Federal Express Shipper Account Number. The Bidder will be billed directly for the direct cost for printing and shipping.   Bidders may visit the site at their convenience; contact Mr. Steve Slauson, Executive Director at St. Joseph County Parks 48 hours in advance to access site, tele: (574) 277-4828.   A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Friday February 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm at St. Patrick’s County Park, White Barn, Harvest Room, 50561 Laurel Rd., South Bend, IN 46637.   Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form provided and accompanied by a non- collusion affidavit, Form 96 of the State Board of Accounts, financial statement, bid bond or certified check, each for a value of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bidder’s total bid amount, including all alternative bids items and other items as noted. The guarantee shall be made out to: St. Joseph County Parks Department.   The successful bidder will be required to furnish Contract Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. Bonds shall be maintained in accordance with IC 36-1-12-13.1 and 36-1-12-14. Bonds shall be in full force and effect for a period of at least 12 months after the date of Final Completion of the Contract.   Pursuant to Indiana Code 22-5-1.7-11, the successful Contractor entering into a contract with the St. Joseph County Parks Department is required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program.   Pursuant to Indiana Code 5-22-16.5, the St. Joseph County Parks Department may not contract with a person who is engaged in investment activities in Iran.   Bid shall be submitted in with one original and two duplicate documents in a sealed envelope with Bid Package(s) clearly marked:   BID ENCLOSED ST.
