RESOLUTION # 2026-73 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR BOROUGH HEALTH INSURANCE BROKER AWARDED AS A FAIR AND OPEN "PROFESSIONAL SERVICE" IN ACCORDANCE WITH N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2026   WHEREAS, on November 26, 2025, the Borough of Wanaque announced through its official Municipal Website, http://www.wanaqueborough.com, that it was soliciting proposals for various professional services under the “Fair and Open” provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq; and WHEREAS, proposals were received on December 17, 2025, and reviewed by the Borough Administrator; and, WHEREAS, upon review by the Borough Council, it is agreed to make certain appointments under the “Fair and Open” provisions of the law; WHEREAS, the award for Borough Health Insurance Broker was made to Professional Insurance Associates, Carlstadt, New Jersey; and, WHEREAS, Professional Insurance Associates is a Division of World Insurance Associates, LLC; and, WHEREAS, payments to this vendor need to be paid as World Insurance Associates, LLC; and WHEREAS, the records need to be amended to reflect the correct vendor for the payment process; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the contract with Professional Insurance Associates now be approved as World Insurance Associates, LLC 1. A copy of this resolution, certified to be a true copy by the Borough Clerk, shall be advertised as required by law within ten (10) days from the date of adoption.
