TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK PUBLIC NOTICE Ordinance No. 13-2026 NOTICE OF PENDING BOND ORDINANCE AND SUMMARY   The bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, was introduced and passed upon first reading at a regular meeting of the governing body of the Township of Teaneck, in the County of Bergen, State of New Jersey (the “Township”), on February 10, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage, after public hearing thereon, at a regular meeting of the governing body of the Township to be held on February 24, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Township’s Municipal Building – Council Chambers located at 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey 07666, or via a virtual meeting. Information regarding remote access to the meeting may be found on the Township’s website at www.teanecknj.gov. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of the full bond ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours at the Township Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same. The summary of the terms of such bond ordinance follows: Title: BOND ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RESTATING IN ITS ENTIRETY BOND ORDINANCE NUMBER 22-2025 FINALLY ADOPTED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK, IN THE COUNTY OF BERGEN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY ON MAY 20, 2025 AND ENTITLED “BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR VARIOUS 2025 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, BY AND IN THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK, IN THE COUNTY OF BERGEN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY; APPROPRIATING $12,315,000 THEREFOR AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $11,687,100 BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF”, TO DECREASE THE AUTHORIZATION OF BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP THEREIN TO $10,518,450, TO DECREASE THE DOWN PAYMENT THEREIN TO $553,749, TO INCREASE THE GRANTS THEREIN TO $1,242,801, AND TO AMEND THE DESCRIPTION OF THE GRANTS REFERENCED IN SECTION 1(a), (b) and (c) AND OTHER PROVISIONS THEREIN Purpose(s): The Bond Ordinance provides for (i) the purchase of various vehicles for the Police Department, Fire Department, and the Department of Public Works; (ii) the purchase of various equipment for the Police Department, the Fire Department, and the Department of Public Works; (iii) reconstruction, resurfacing, replacement, and/or upgrades, as applicable, to various roads, sidewalks and curbs throughout the Township; (iv) various repairs and upgrades to the sewer and drainage systems throughout the Township; (v) improvements and the purchase of equipment for various parks throughout the Township; and (vi) improvements and upgrades to various municipal facilities.
