ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Separate sealed bids for the construction of the 2024 BARLING PARK IMPROVEMENTS: TRAIL / HANDICAPPED PARKING will be received by the CITY OF BARLING, ARKANSAS at the Courts Building at City Hall located at 307 Fort Street in Barling, Arkansas on March 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The project includes the installation of 2,000 SY of 10 foot wide sidewalk, 250 SY of concrete parking slab and restroom. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following location: E D M CONSULTANTS, INC. 3808 Jenny Lind Road Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901 Bidders may obtain sets of plans and specifications from the office of the Engineer, E D M Consultants, Inc. at $200.00 per set, non-refundable. Checks shall be made payable to EDM Consultants, Inc. A bid bond in the amount of 5% complying with Arkansas regulations shall accompany each bid. All bidders shall comply with requirements of the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors and shall be licensed on the date of the bid submittal. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. No bid shall be withdrawn within a period of 60 calendar days following opening of bids.
