NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of Langhorne Borough, Bucks County, Pennsylvania (“Borough”) at a scheduled meeting of the Borough to be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., will consider the enactment of an ordinance (“Ordinance”). The Ordinance to be considered and acted upon is titled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF LANGHORNE, BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, ADOPTING AN UPDATED ZONING MAP FOR THE BOROUGH TO INCLUDE TND-2 TRADITIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT 2 OVERLAY DISTRICT, TO REPEAL INCONSISTENT PROVISIONS, AND TO ESTABLISH SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE
The public hearing will be held for the purpose of receiving comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing within the Borough concerning the proposed Ordinance.
Pursuant to the requirements of the Borough Code, the following is a summary of the proposed Ordinance, which amends certain provisions of the Borough’s Zoning Ordinance:
First, the Ordinance amends the official zoning map to include the TND-2 Traditional Neighborhood Development 2 Overlay District as delineated on the Langhorne Borough Zoning Map attached to the Ordinance. Second, the Ordinance re-scinds all prior versions of the Borough’s official zoning map in its entirety; Third, the Ordinance contains a repealer clause, severability clause, and an effective date.
