PIN: 426 116 302# MEETING MINUTES I. Vice President Christopherson called the Special Board Meeting to order at 12:01 p.m. II. Pledge of Allegiance. III. Present: Christopherson, Good, Routheau, Thompson, Trepanier. Absent: Christensen, Kumhala. Administration: Emily Miller, Superintendent. IV. Public Comments. None. V. Adjourn to Closed Session as provided by State Statute 19.85(1): A. Motion and roll call vote to enter into Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(f), the Board of Education may convene in Closed Session for the purpose of: 1. Discussion regarding teacher resignation. Motion was made by Thompson; seconded by Routheau to enter into Closed Session. Motion carried unanimously via roll call vote. Vice President Christopherson called the Closed Session meeting to order at 12:05 p.m. Present: Christopherson, Good, Routheau, Thompson, Trepanier. Absent: Christensen, Kumhala. Administration: Emily Miller, Superintendent. VI. Reconvene to Open Session with possible action. A. Discussion/Possible Action: 1. Staffing: Resignation(s)/Hire(s). a) Resignations: (1) Mary Nelson - OES 4th-grade Teacher. (2) James Nelson - OHS Special Ed Paraprofessional. b) Hires: (1) Allison Beaumier - OES Special Ed Paraprofessional. (2) Julie Spaude - OHS Special Ed Paraprofessional. Motion was made by Trepanier; seconded by Routheau to reconvene to open session. Motion carried unanimously via voice vote. Vice President Christopherson called the reconvened meeting to order at 12:32 p.m. Motion was made by Routheau; seconded by Trepanier to approve the above resignations and hires as presented above. Motion carried unanimously via roll call vote. VII. Adjourn. Motion was made by Thompson; seconded by Trepanier to adjourn the Special Board Meeting of January 23, 2026.
