ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation
Village of Wales
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Village Clerk of the Village of Wales until 10:00 am, Thursday, March 12, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Community Center Building/Village DPW Building (216 W. South Street, Wales, WI 53183), for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of the following items in the approximate quantities indicated:

Bids shall be on the form provided for that purpose and according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH®) dated March 2026.
The Bidding Documents may be seen at the Issuing Office of SEH located at: SEH, N19 W24133 Riverwood Drive, Suite #160, Waukesha, WI 53188-1172.
The Bidding Documents may be viewed for no cost at http://www.sehinc.com by selecting the Project Bid Information link at the bottom of the page and the View Plans option from the menu at the top of the selected project page.

These documents may be downloaded by selecting this project from the "Project Bid Information" link and by entering eBidDocTM Number 10060821 on the SEARCH PROJECTS page. Paper copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office at the above address in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders upon payment of $50/Set. Checks should be made out to Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. No refunds will be provided.
Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bids shall be directed to the Village Clerk, Wales Village Hall, PO Box 47, Wales, WI, 53183, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, "BID FOR WALES PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE REHABILITATION."
No pre-Bid conference will be held.
Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted to SEH in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Contractors on the Project shall be required to comply with the minimum wages in effect for the State of Wisconsin.
The Village of Wales Common Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Village of Wales.
