Sealed proposals will be received by Jefferson Township (2nd Class) of Somerset County, PA at 1610 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA 15501 until 1:30 PM, on March 12, 2026, for the following: ITEM 1 – 2,265 TON 2.5” SUPERPAVE WEARING COURSE, 19.0mm, IN PLACE (OVERLAY) ITEM 2 – 362 TON SUPERPAVE WEARING COURSE, 19.0mm, IN PLACE (AS DIRECTED) OPTION 1 = Items #1 & #2 & OPTION 2 = Item #1 Only. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage ACT applies to this project only if the bid amount exceeds $100,000.00. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded.
