NOTICE OF BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the BOARD OF APPEALS of the City of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, will take action on the following appeal on Monday, March 2, 2026. Johnson St., Fond du Lac, WI 54935 Zoning Code Regulations: Schedule VIII Design Standards and Specifications for Signs – C-2 District allows for one (1) square foot of sign face per one (1) linear foot of wall space. Proposal: Allow installation of an approximately 241 sq ft wall sign for the Ross Dress for Less retail space. Intent of Variance Request: The variance request asks for a waiver to allow installation of a wall sign in the C-2 District larger than the maximum square footage allowed, which is one (1) square foot of sign per one (1) linear foot of wall space. The linear frontage of the building is 105 feet, allowing for a 105 square foot sign per code. The proposed wall sign would be approximately 241 sq ft, or more than two (2) square feet of sign for every one (1) square foot of wall space.
