Newspaper Announcement NON-PUBLIC SCHOOLS OF GASTON COUNTY Gaston County Schools is conducting a virtual meeting on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. to discuss the requirements for private school participation in the following federal programs: Title I Part A- Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged; Title II Part A, Improving Teacher Quality; Title III- Limited English Proficient; Title IV Part A, Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grant; the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program; Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part B & Preschool; and the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act, Part 2-C. These programs and projects will be operated in compliance with federal legislation and regulations, and with policies and procedures issued by the State Department of Public Instruction.
