NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS The Norwood Community Unit School District 63 will receive sealed bids for the construction of the NORWOOD SCHOOLS 2026 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE until 10:00 A.M. on the 12TH day of March, 2026 at Norwood Community Unit School District 63 Administration Office, 6521 W Farmington Rd, Peoria, IL 61604 , Illinois. Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time. Contract documents, including drawings and specifications, may be obtained from TWM Inc., 5901 N. Prospect Road, Suite 6B Peoria, Illinois 61614. Documents will be emailed in PDF format. A cashier’s check, a certified check or a Bid bond, payable to the Norwood Community Unit School District 63, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid price, as a proposal guarantee, shall accompany each such bid. Bids may be held for a period of up to sixty (60) days prior to making an award. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Contract Bond to the Norwood Community Unit School District 63 in an amount equal to the contract price. In accordance with 820/ILCS 130/3 and 130/5, this contract is subject to all the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, is subject to the payment of prevailing wages and the Contractor is required to submit monthly certified payroll records. In accordance with Public Act 96-0635, effective 1/1/08, all Contractors and Subcontractors, performing any contractual public work subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, shall have in place a written Substance Abuse Prevention Program filed with the public body engaged in public works. The successful Contractor shall file the Substance Abuse Prevention Program (s), with the Norwood Community Unit School District 63, prior to award of the Contract. The Norwood Community Unit School District 63 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities in any or all bids.
