New Temporary Sign Bylaw for Tricentennial
Committee
Per MGL, 40A, Section 5, the Planning Board of the Town of Southborough shall hold a public hearing on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 6:40 PM, in the McAuliffe Hearing Room, 17 Common St. Southborough, MA, and via Zoom, to amend174-11 C with a new subsection sixteen (16) to permit banners and signage in connection with the Town’s Tricentennial Celebration.
This hearing concerns the proposed addition of a temporary zoning amendment to the sign bylaw §174-11, that will allow the Tricentennial Committee to promote the activities and events of Southborough’s Tricentennial Celebration through banners and signs on utility/light poles in the public way, and non-residential properties with Select Board approval and within the existing size limits. This amendment shall expire on January 31, 2028.
