Main South Community Development Corporation has applied to the Planning Board seeking (1) Definitive Site Plan Review (Article V) and (2) a Special Permit for Inclusionary Zoning Incentives to modify loading, parking, dimensional, landscaping, and layout requirements (Article VII, Section 6.A.ii.b.) under the requirements of the City of Worcester Zoning Ordinance. Presently on the premises is detached garage and surface parking lot with ±74 parking spaces. The property is located within the RG-5 (Residence, General) zoning district. The applicant proposes to raze the current site improvements to construct a ±48,700 SF, 5-story multi-family (high-rise) dwelling with ±41 units, with a ±35-space surface parking facility, and to make associated site improvements (PB-2026-023).
A public hearing on the application will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 5:30PM in the Levi Lincoln Chamber, 3rd floor of the City Hall, 455 Main Street, Worcester, MA.
