ORDINANCE NO. 2026–02 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF ENGLISHTOWN, COUNTY OF MONMOUTH, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AN ORDINANCE CREATING CHAPTER 470 OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF ENGLISHTOWN ENTITLED "MERCANTILE REGISTRATION AND BUSINESS LICENSING" Purpose: The purpose of this chapter is to require the registration of businesses operating within the Borough of Englishtown in order to protect the public health, safety, and welfare; ensure compliance with applicable laws and ordinances; and maintain an accurate registry of commercial activity within the Borough.
