Condensed Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Cudahy, held at the Cudahy Municipal Building, 5050 S. Lake Dr., Milwaukee County, Wisconsin – TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2026 ROLL CALL Mayor Jankowski called the meeting to order at 7:01 PM. The following answered, "present" to the roll call: Council Members Levy, Phillips, Haines, Loferski and St. Marie-Boelkow. City Attorney Larson, City Administrator Larson, Police Chief Andrews, Fire Chief Bloor, DPW Superintendent Spears, Engineer Supervisor Schultz, Clerk/Treasurer Sobieski, DPW Director Birkel, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Venancio-Leonard were also in attendance. APPROVED: 1. Minutes of the Plan Commission held November 11, 2025. 2. Minutes of the Regular meeting of the Common Council held November 18, 2025. 3. Minutes of the Regular Common Council meeting held December 2, 2025. 4. Minutes of the Plan Commission held December 10, 2025. 5. Ordinance No. 2565- An Ordinance to Create Sections of the City of Cudahy Municipal Code Relating to Right-Of- Way Fees. 6. Resolution No. 7180.15- A Resolution Adopting City Fee Schedule including the $25.00 Right- of- Way fee. 7. Transient Merchant Permit for Saul Melendez, Agent, of Azteca Restaurant, LLC, food truck. 8. Catherine Baerwald to the Water Utility Commission to fill a vacancy. 9. Combine Traffic & Safety to Board of Public Works, clarify Personnel Committee duties and amend Rules, Laws and Licensing duties. 10. Resolution No. 7592- A Resolution Denying the Claim of Shawn Bumgardner. 11. Resolution No. 7593- A Resolution Denying the Claim of Cheryll Arkens. 12. Resolution No. 7597- A Resolution Supporting the City of Cudahy's Admission to the Milwaukee Area- Racine- Kenosha Passenger Rail Commission. 13. Adjourn into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(e) and Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(g). 14. Adjourn closed session and reconvene in open session. 15.
