BOROUGH OF WAYNESBORO INVITATION FOR BIDS FIRE EQUIPMENT PURCHASE The Borough of Waynesboro will receive sealed bids for the purchase of fire hose and related firefighting equipment. Bids will be accepted at Borough Hall until 4:00 p.m. prevailing time, on April 2, 2026, at 55 E. Main Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268. At that time and location, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Borough, on behalf of its Fire Department, intends to purchase the following equipment: Fire Hoses Eighteen (18) 3.0" Supply Line (Key Hose Big 10), or equivalent – 50 ft sections; Twenty-three (23) 1.75" Attack Line (Key Hose Big 10), or equivalent – 50 ft sections; Eight (8) 2.5" Attack Line (Key Hose Big 10), or equivalent – 50 ft sections; Twelve (12) 4" Supply Line (Key Hose Hy Flow), or equivalent - 100 ft sections. Appliances / Nozzles One (1) 2.5" with 1.25" solid tip; Two (2) 1.5" Distributor Nozzle; Two (2) 2.5" Distributor Nozzle; One (1) 2.5" Fog Nozzle, 75–325 GPM @ 75 PSI; One (1) Transformer Piercing Nozzle System, or equivalent; Eight (8) Combination Nozzle, 150 GPM @ 75 PSI and 7/8" solid bore. Each bid must be accompanied, in the amount of 10% of the total bid, payable to the Borough of Waynesboro by either: a certified check, a bank draft, or a bid bond issued by an acceptable surety This procurement is funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG).
