INVITATION TO BID Town of Wellington CDOT Region 4 Cleveland Avenue Revitalization Project, SHO M430-006, CID No.25044 The Town of Wellington will accept sealed bids until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026 for the construction of the Cleveland Avenue Revitalization Project. The project includes the reconstruction of Cleveland Avenue (State Highway 1) from 1st Street to 5th Street. Work along Cleveland includes removal of existing sidewalks, asphalt, drainage features, electrical lines and conduit, trees, and existing amenities (lights, benches, trash cans). Reconstruction work includes constructing new sidewalks, ADA ramps, storm drain pipe and inlets, electrical conduit and wires, lighting, irrigation system, trees and other vegetation, pedestrian amenities (light poles, benches, etc), pavement and striping. The project work includes the installation of a new stormdrain outfall from Cleveland Avenue down 5th street to Boxelder Creek. As part of this effort utility relocation for Town owned and operated water mains and sanitary sewer lines will be required. Lastly this project includes “off system” pedestrian improvements such as the installation of Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), installation of new stop signs, and new cross walk striping, at various locations throughout Town.   Bid Documents can be found on bidnetdirect.com/townofwellington.
