Minutes of the Roland City Council Budget Meeting Wednesday, February 25, 2026 The Roland City Council met for a budget meeting on Wednesday February 25, 2026. The meeting was held at 6:00 pm at Roland City Hall with Mayor Bower presiding. Council Members Present: Jonathan Keply, Aaron Burres, Riley Larson, Curtis Kentner, Doug Sargent. Staff Present: City Clerk Mellisa Mattingly and City Manager Dalton Johnston. There were no visitors from the public. A motion was made by Burres and seconded by Kepley to approve the consent agenda for this meeting which included Agenda for February 25, 2026. All in Favor. Motion Carried. Clerk Mattingly, Mayor and City Council went over the expenses for the 26/27 Budget. Mattingly explained the way things were as of right now we cannot do any extras for any department. Council ask Clerk Mattingly and City Manager Johnston to talk with our financial advisor about State Loans for departments and some other things that are on the property tax levy for fire & ems. Mayor and Council Reports/Comments: None. Burres moved for the adjournment of the meeting at 6:58 pm seconded by Larson. All in Favor. Motion Carried.
