NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Bedford, Indiana (hereinafter, the “City”) through the City of Bedford, Indiana, Board of Public Works and Safety, will receive sealed bids for a 12 inch water main relocation and fire hydrant relocation on the southside of SR 58 10 feet off the pavement 0.1 miles west of Fellowship Dr on SR 58.
Scope of Work and bid forms can be obtained from Bedford City Utilities 1614 L St, Bedford, IN 47421 between the hours of 8 AM and 3:30 PM (E.S.T) Monday through Friday. The successful bidder will be required to carry and to produce a certificate of general liability in an amount not less than One Million and 00/100 Dollars ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence and Two Million and 00/100 Dollars ($2,000,000.00) general aggregate; with the City named as an additional insured.
Sealed written bids may be filed at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Bedford, Indiana, at 1102 16th St, Bedford, Indiana 47421, between the hours of 8 AM – 3 PM (E.S.T) Monday through Friday no later than March 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM with envelope clearly marked “SR58 water main relocation”. The bids will be opened and read aloud by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Bedford at its meeting at Stonegate Arts and Education Center 931 15th St, Bedford, IN 47421 on March 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The Board of Public Works and Safety expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted and to waive any informality in the invitation for bids.
