DOCUMENT 001114 – ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (AS PUBLISHED) Sealed proposals for Running Track Renovations will be received by the Northeastern School District at the Administration Offices, 41 Harding Street, Manchester, PA,17345 on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., prevailing time, at which time and place all proposals received will be publicly opened and read immediately. Project consists of repairs and resurfacing the existing synthetic track and runway / approach areas. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, March 18, at 11:00 at the District Administrative Offices, 41 Harding Street, Manchester, PA,17345. Questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed at the Landscape Architect. All sealed proposals shall be submitted to Mr. Brian Geller, Chief Financial Operations Officer, one (1) original and two (2) copies in an envelope clearly marked on the outside with the name of the Bidder and “Sealed Bid for Running Track Renovation Project”. Proposal shall be mailed or delivered to Owner and received not later than time as stated above. Oral, telephonic (facsimile, e-mail, or telex), or telegraphic bids are invalid and will not receive consideration. This project is subject to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry’s Prevailing Wage Determination and applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, the Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate prevailing minimum rate as promulgated under provisions of said Act must be paid by contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. Notice is also given that the project for which construction bids are being received is subject to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the Act of October 27, 1955, P.L. 744, as amended and supplemented.
