PUBLIC NOTICE  The North East Borough Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the North East Borough Chambers, 31 West Main Street, North East, PA 16428. The Zoning Board will hear the following variance requests:  David Thornton and Eric and Stacy Rubinstein request a variance for a new construction of a single-family residence at 120 Pine Tree Lane (Parcel No. 36012066201100) for side yard setback requirements. The total proposed setback is twenty-one (21) feet, not the required twenty-four (24) feet per Section 406 – Lot & Yard Requirements Table of the North East Zoning Ordinance. The named parcel lies in an R-B Multiple Family Residential District with an R Classification under Erie County Government.  Anyone with an opinion either for or against this request may be heard.
