NOTICE OF ACTION
TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN
PLANNING BOARD
TAKE NOTICE THAT ON February 18, 2026, the Planning Board of the Township of Franklin in the County of Somerset took the following action:
Under Docket # PLN-23-00007, granted preliminary and final major site plan approval and conditional use approval with variances to DAVIDSON PROPERTIES, LLC, to construct a to a 37,460 SF warehouse, with one (1) potential office area (1,950 SF), five (5) loading docks, one (1) drive in ramp, a nine (9) space trailer parking area and associated site improvements. Variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c)(2) was granted to Applicant so as to permit the following:
A. Minimum Combined Side Yard Setback -50 feet required and 44.65 feet approved;
B. Minimum Drive Aisle Setback -5 feet required and 2.1 feet approved;
C. Minimum Drive Aisle Width -26 feet required and 24 feet approved; and
D. Minimum Parking Lot Setback-5 feet required and 2.1 feet approved.
This is for the premises presently known as 230 Davidson Avenue, Somerset, New Jersey, being known and designated as Block 468.01, Lot 20.01 on the Official Tax Map of the Township of Franklin.
A copy of the Resolution is on file and available for public inspection in the Department of Planning & Zoning during normal business hours.
