Notice of Application for Aquatic Plant Management Permit Lake and Pond Solutions, LLC will apply for a permit from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to the ponds at Tuckaway Country Club - Franklin, WI (4.6 acres), City of Oak Creek – Henry Miller Park (0.76 acres), Lily Drive Subdivision – Oak Creek, WI (53154), and the pond at 7301 S Trinity Ct. - Franklin, WI (0.31 acres) with aquatic herbicides to control nuisance and non-native vegetation. Treatments would occur between April and October of 2026. The applications will target specific nuisance plants/algae in the treatment area. Lake and Pond Solutions, LLC will conduct a public informational meeting on the proposed treatments if five or more individuals, organizations, special units of government, or local units of government request one. The meeting will give citizens a chance to learn more about the proposed treatments based on information provided to the citizens attending the meeting. Any request for a public meeting on these proposed treatments must be made within five days after this notice is published. The request must specify the topics to be discussed at the meeting, including problems and alternatives, and must be sent in writing to Lake and Pond Solutions, LLC, W4950 County Road A, Elkhorn, WI 53121 and copied to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, c/o Craig Helker, 1027 West St, Paul Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
